Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (Katunayake)
En route stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Watch rescued elephants bathe and roam freely
Proceed to Kandy – cultural capital surrounded by forested hills
Visit Temple of the Tooth and take a walk by Kandy Lake
Early morning visit to Horton Plains National Park (optional hike to World’s End & Baker's Falls)
Take the iconic scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella (one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world)
Arrive in Ella – a picturesque mountain village
Overnight Stay: Ella
Morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak or visit Nine Arches Bridge
After lunch, head south to Yala or Udawalawe National Park
Optional evening jeep safari depending on arrival time
Overnight Stay: Yala / Udawalawe
Early morning safari in:
🐆 Yala (Leopards, elephants, sloth bears) or
🐘 Udawalawe (Large elephant herds, birds, buffalo)
After breakfast, transfer to the southern coast
Check-in at a beachfront hotel in Mirissa

Morning at leisure (optional whale watching if seasonal – Nov to April)
On the way back, explore Galle Fort – a UNESCO heritage site
